New Relic and Webficient Deliver Application Management Ready Images in Amazon Cloud

Integration of New Relic RPM agent within the Webficient Amazon Machine Image (AMI) enables instant monitoring for Rails applications in the cloud.

FOLSOM and SAN FRANCISCO, CALIFORNIA – June 4, 2009 –Webficient, a leading web application development firm, and New Relic, the leading provider of software as a service application performance management solutions, today announced the integration of New Relic’s RPM™ Rails application performance management software with an Amazon Machine Image (AMI) created by Webficient. The AMI created by Webficient is optimized for deployment of Ruby on Rails applications running in the Amazon Elastic Computing Cloud (EC2.)

The Webficient AMI is available immediately. AMI users who already have an RPM account can enter their license key when prompted. New customers can create a free RPM Lite account.
