What’s New at Webficient

The beginning of the year has started out with a bang, including some exciting new projects and changes to the team. We’re currently working on a facelift to our own Web site, with the assistance of several strategic partners. Our goal is to more effectively communicate our value proposition and highlight how we help existing businesses, entrepeneurs, and Web development service providers with their needs.

I’m also pleased to announce that Jeremy Dowd is now our Creative Director. While we work with several talented designers on an on-going basis, Jeremy has really impressed us (and our clients!) with the quality of his work. Check out WeCure.com, for example. You can also see his stunning portfolio at jdowd.com. Jeremy will be driving the design effort in existing and new projects and collaborating with our other designers.

Finally, we don’t want to let the cat out of the bag yet but we’ve got a few internal projects underway that will culminate in several exciting stand-alone products. These applications will highlight the strength and beauty of the Ruby on Rails framework and why we use it for 90% of our client projects. More details later!
