Yahoo Pipes Product Recalls Feed

I love a good Web tool. Yahoo Pipes happens to be one of them. For those of you not familiar with it, Pipes allows you to mix and match data from different sources and tweak the final output. I had almost forgot about Pipes after the buzz it created when it was launched months ago until I found myself with a recent need that matched up well with what Pipes can offer.

It seems as though every week, we’re hearing about a new toy recall due to excessive lead or food contaminated with E. coli. It turns out there are several public sources for recall information and a couple of these publish the data as RSS feeds. Rather than subscribing to multiple feeds, I created a Yahoo Pipe that blends them into one feed, which I then subscribe to with my favorite reader.

Unfortunately I could not find any feeds for vehicle and car child seat recalls, so if you know of any, let me know, and I can add it in.
